Don't worries, from what u've said, it seems that your daughter is 發骨節，
1) give her plenty of water, my mother said sugar cane + carrot --> boil for at least 2 hr but do not mix with medicine
2) try mix the medicine with organe juice & give it to your daughter
3) let her to take enough rest / sleep + light exercise
4) plain congee can facilitate decreasing the body temperature & easy to take
5) when your daughter has high fever, use wet towel to clean her face & hands & legs
6) can see Chinese Medicine after she get well to 調理身體
Don't trust the doctor in Public Hospital, that was my experience in year 2004 when my was 3 years old.............
My son got fever, of course i brought him to see the doctor near my house..... and i got the medicine and let him drank....... but it's strange , evertime after he drank the medicine the temperature very fast to lower but raised again
At mid-night , his temperature reached 40 so I feed him the medicine and brought him to "TUEN MUN HOSPITAL" , in the hospital his temp has fallen again, the younger doctor show me the chart of "fever" and told me this is normal for the children got fever if they still can playing or singing, of course my son sang a song in the hospital...........so i got 2 bottles of medicine and left.
next day, i talk with my boss, and he asked me to send my son to see Li Ka Yan, so i've done.
In the clinic, Dr Li just check and listen, and he doesn't like the other doctor, he trusts the parents' talking ,not like the other doctors.........after the X'ray checking...... pneumonia......a whole lung is clear and white. He stayed in hospital for 10 days.
That is my opinion, if you see your doctor once , maybe twice and the fever has not gone, so you need to send the child to the expert.
