Dear friends,
I did send emails to Education Bureau personally using this thread to ask for priority for local students in school places allocation. However, the reply is as same as that to anti-national education. Just Listen but the policy remains unchanged. Frustrated!
Sorry, I tried my best. Here are the replys for your information.
Thanks for supporting the idea.

Original 2nd reply from Ms So, Education Bureau, dated Jun 29, 2012:
Thank you again for your views and suggestions.
Under the Primary One Admission (POA) System, eligible applicants, irrespective of whether they reside in Hong Kong or not, should be given fair treatment. Any proposed changes to the existing practice should go through serious consideration and thorough consultation.
Your views together with other suggestions from the public (such as diverting cross-boundary children by administrative measure to other school nets with sufficient school places) will be brought to the POA Committee for consideration. The POA Committee is an established consultative body that comprises representatives from various educational bodies, and serves to review regularly the POA System and recommend measures of improvements to the Secretary for Education.
The Education Bureau will ensure the provision of sufficient public sector school places for children eligible for receiving education in Hong Kong. In view of the demand for school places from children born in Hong Kong to Mainland women and returning to Hong Kong for education (including cross-boundary students) in recent years, we have increased the provision of school places through flexible measures as far as possible to ensure sufficient school places for local children.
Thanks again for your concerns with education policy.
