I am going to bangkok this Sat with my 22 months old son, and will stay at shangri la hotel as well, can u please tell me what services the hotel can provide me to ease my caring for my son....e.g. kids food, bed, stroller for borrowing, child caring centre or activities suitable for toddlers etc..
Last easter i went to Bkk with my sons and we lived in Four Seasons hotel which next to Grand Hyatt ( Four faces buddist ) . The location is super convenience and the hotel is very nice. The room is comfortable with wellcome gift and accessaries for children. ( including bath gel/ shampoo/ Johnson's powder...)
Thanks for all information.
Finally, I booked Marriott spa and resort.
We want to go to the safari world on the second day. Anyone have been there? Should I go on my own or should I join the local tour?
If I book a private van, it costs around hk$900 for a whole day tour including tour guide and lunch.
What do u think? Expensive or not?
Moyan, HK$900 for a private van is pretty good..with lunch & tour guide. But years ago, i booked a private van for around BHT3500 from 9am t0 9 pm, no lunch, no tour guide.
You just sit in the bus and you will see a lot of animals walking around your bus. So many giraffs, so beautiful. I didn't expect much before I went and I was really surprised. The best part is the giraff feeding section where you can feed the giraffs yourself.
I wish I can post some pictures here to share with other mammy, but I don't know how. :-(
I'm also just back from Bangkok. My daughter is 2 years old, and she loved to see the animals in Safari World. It's a pity that we miss the feeding time, and the Giraffe is quite far away from us. But an Ostrich walk in front of our car, we had to stop to let the Ostrich cross the road!
They also have some other animals in the Marine World e.g. Crocodile, Parrots e.t.c. And you can take photo with the baby tiger/parrots/chimpanzee and cost 80bht.
We booked the van there, as we have 5 people, and may need to take 2 taxi, so we choose not to take taxi.
