GEOCITIES IS CLOSING ON OCTOBER 26, 2009.
New GeoCities accounts are no longer available.

Yahoo! GeoCities was a free web hosting service founded by David Bohnett and John Rezner in late 1994.

Ten years after Yahoo! purchased GeoCities, the company is shutting down the service, effective October 26, 2009.
