u r damn right....i thought my 2nd maid (an oversea bun) was very good at the first beginning. i was going to gave birth in oct 2011 so i hired the 2nd maid to take care my first nb baby. she started working for us in June as i needed her to wash the baby beddings & cleaning the baby room after a big renovation so I started looking for my 2nd maid when i was around 3 months pregnant.
she is almost a perfect bun bun in first 3 months, working hard, effiicient, clean & tidy.....after worked for us for 3 months.....then she started crying easily without a rational reason and keep telling me she misses her children....& the next minutue she would long face to u when u ask her to iron baby clothes.......(.omg...what can i do, if u can't leave your children for a job in hk why u apply the vacancy???) i let her take an hour rest and asked my long time bun to finish her job which is not so fair. finally she resigned end of sept (one month notice) while my expected confinement date was around end of oct (c -sesssion). i was extremely disappointed & angry so i rather paid her a month wages and sent her back to the agent on the next day of her resignation. she was so surprised of my decisive and asked if she can stay & work here for me until end of Oct.... one of my friend got similar bad experience...they just use us as a bridge to find another job targeting a pair of working couple without any family relatives/nb / children live in the same premises so they have nothing to do in day time.
