但大眾銀行要開戶一年先可以比你開支票戶口,
如果做6個月,到時要攞走d錢就要開本票,
佢地話本票每張$50

暫時呢個利息最高，不過就要開多個小朋友戶口，小朋友戶口2.12%到30/6，但要在30/8才計息。最盡即係要1/7以後提走小朋友戶口的十萬元，到30/8收息後才取消個戶口。比較麻煩左啲...

Furthermore, new customers are not allowed to open current a/c, so upon the time deposit matures, I have to pay HKD60 for cashier order to withdraw the money, and I could only cash out the money from the children a/c as transfer out to the parent's ac is not allowed. A bit troublesome.

I called their customer services hotline, that was what she told me. Which branch that you opened the a/c with? I want to go to the causeway bay branch. Furthermore, how're you going to withdraw the money from the children account? The CS said only cash withdrawal is allowed. so troublesome in this case.

I open the a/c (both parent & kid) in TW branch.

Parent a/c => open fixed deposit & current a/c looo...
Kid a/c => only open saving a/c...

if time maturity, you can transfer $$ from kid a/c to parent current a/c.. then will be save to withdraw $$ to other bank looo

What you mentioned was totally different from what the CS told me this morning. She said only cash withdrawal from kids account is allowed, I couldn't transfer money from kids account to the parent a/c. Do you know if there's any fees for zero balance account upon the money is withdrawn from the parent a/c? thanks.
