I didn't teach my son how to use the straw, seems like they are born with that talent. I remembered I let him use the straw when he was around 1 year old cuz he was having a canker sore on the top of his tongue, very painful and he couldn't drink milk with the bottle/ sipper cup, so I try to let him use the straw and he just know how to suck up the milk

maybe he was so hungry at that time. I guess, you can try to use juice/ fat bean's favorite drink to attract her for using the straw.

pepsii:
Becareful when you are dealing with the kittens, is good that you have rent out the apt. already, Brooklyn area is always very popular. Did you have the check up yet? how is the baby doing now, did you gain a lot?

My case was 對方衝紅燈 and tried to run away. I followed her for about ten mintues.
I called police than she told different story to the police . So I sent the case to the court. She had 假証人too. 除了講出事實外,我無做任何野,因不是我錯.
Of course I won the case la!

My insurance adjuster called me back and said now it is only my words against her words, and there are no witnesses, so I don't know if the other side decided to sue, what is going to happen. :-x :-x :-x And now I have to keep calling Allstate to see if they will take a look at my car and examine the damage.
whalebb, did you hire a lawyer and what is the procedure and fees? I just hate to deal with courts and lawyers.
Was your car badly damaged?

The lawyer was my friend's boss. I didn't pay for anything. I think you are better hire a lawyer to handle your case. Then you won't need to worry to much. I think that lady wants money $$$$$.
All Insurance Co will not want you to hire any lawyer. Because they don't want pay for the bill ah.
My car was totally lost and became a savage car.

whalebb: it was good you get your $$ back, sorry about your car loss.
GEICO (that's my insurance co) said if the other side sue me, they will hire a lawyer for me, but I can always hire my own lawyer. I asked my company's legal council to see if she knows any good lawyers to handle the case. I will see if the other side want to be pain of the a$$ (sorry about the language, I am in a very bad mood lately)
Yes, all the other side wants is $$, her car is a very old Honda, I think it is about early 90s. She even told my insurance that she is not driving her car now because it doesn't "look good" (But good enough to drive away!!!)
It is disgusting what people can do for a little $$! :-x :-x
So your friend works for a lawyer? Can she refer someone in Houston area for me? Please?
whalebb: when you go to court, did you have to tell your story over and over again? Did the judge decide who was at fault? I have never been in court for anything... :-(

I think you hire a Chinese lawyer is better . 有無中文電話薄(yellow page)? The lawyer will contract both sides your insurance co. And you will only need go to your lawyer office落口供.

If both sides insist (sp???) not their fault. Then go to court nor!!!

Of course your insurance doesn't suggest you to find lawyer la. $$$$$$$$

yv: it is so great you are here ar! Welcome! I was too busy with my own personal problems (read the story above) so I forgot to PM you about the new topic. Welcome again! How's your babies?

whalebb: I feel better after hearing you say that now. At least now I know it has happened to other people also, not just me unlucky. It is just very upsetting for something like this to happen. Makes me hard to sleep well at night (and Hayden B keeps waking me up too)
I went to eat lots of salmon sushi to cheer myself up. Yummy!
Tomorrow I have to stop by downtown to get the copy of the police report and send to my insurance. I probably will bring Hayden B to Babies R Us on the way home and get the BB seat you got for Fat Bean too. Don't know why Hayden B is not really walking yet, but his feet are already *stinky*

Do you think I should wait to see if the other person really wants to sue? (they haven't yet) The lady's husband told my insurance that if insurance doesn't pay him, he will sue... (for $1500!!!)
I am going to call up a traffic accident lawyer that my co worker referred and see what he says...
may be I can sue him first!!!!

yeah...apt already rent out la...hope this people will be good as the old one..
I didn't get much weight...I heard some other Nov mummy gain over 10 pounds or so...but not me...I guess I am already overweight b4..so I won't gain too much

I only gained about 3 pounds so far...this coming monday June 16...I will go see the ob-gyn doctor again..so happy I can see the bb again from the monitor :-P :-P :-P
I will also ask about the kitties...I am not planning to keep them in-house...becasue my hubby keep telling me not to..never to...!!! and I will remember to ask for the blood test for contacting the kitties too...

I know how frustrating to deal with car accident....but just clam down....if they are so nasty..don't wait for their action...just sue them first...so what about GEICO said????? are they question you why you are not reporting or anything???? hope you can resolve this problems as soon as possible la...

P.S. are those idiot did all the work just for $1500 ??????

Please bear in yr mind you have to clear on the whole accident since you have no witness. Make sure the damage on yr car is co-ordinated w/what you mentioned.

Long time to talk, you guys already into part II!!! We went to disney world in orlando right after the girls are out for the summer for ten days. It was real fun but the weather there was hot and humid.

Haydenmama,
I am so sorry about your car accident, I hope everything will turn out fine for you soon! How is the weather in Houston, look like it is going to rain in Austin!

Your baby's birthday is in August? My twins and I's birthday are also in August, when is your baby's b-day? Actually the twins and I are a week a part , only if I can hold it for a week, then the three of us can celebrate our birthday together!

Hope you are doing well during your pregnancy. I didn't gain much weight for the first three months when I was carrying the twins also, but I started to gaining more after six months. So don't worry too much, just take it easy la!

you were in car accident? it was not so good but l hope things goes well and it over soon . my hubby is american so lf you need some help or advice let me know see if he can do something... coz he just know everything.

is it your first baby? l met a taiwian lady she due Nov too. you are still very early pregnancy you will gain more weight after your 6 months pregnancy. l did the same . l didn't gain even lost 5 lbs but after 6 months l gain 10 lbs in a month.. but l still didn't gian enough but my ryan is 8.14 lbs big boy!! so eat well and sleep good coz sleep really can make a fat baby!
oh one thing you gonna to be relax and happy all the time.
