I hired a Thai helper 6 years ago. completed 2 contract.
After that I change a Yan Yan & Philippino
The Thai one is a good cook but they like to use msg (味精) very much even I told her not to , she did put the msg in our food .
But the hygience standard is lower than Bun & Yan I think it is because they didn't receive proper training before they came to HK.

My Thaimaid doesn't use msg for cooking bor... actually, she used the chicken essential powder when she first arrived.. then I told her we don't use that except occassionally use for noodle soup base... then she never use it again la.. but can't say she cooks very well.. just okay and able to follow what I told her to la.
She is quite clean and polit (most of the time).. and of course can't expect her to be up to our standard without some training.
