Hi all Oz mammies,
I will be travelling with family to Aus in August. we will fly
to Sydney and drive up to Goldcoast, want to know if it is legally required that kids seat in a car seat while travelling
in a car? like in UK and US? any age or weight limits?
I tried to check for info from some Aus websites but don't seem to get a clear cut answer. Thanks!
Oh, can anyone share what is the weather like in Sydney and Goldcoast? do I need to pack really wintery clothes?

I think that's legally requirement for kids to seat in car seat under certain age. For my kids who are 4yrs and 6yrs, they sit on a booster.

You can check with your car rental company and they will give you advise, you can rent the car seat from them or you can ask for free if car rental for long period.

I remeber that is no clear infomation on the requirment on car seat but the rule of thumb is the seat belt would not hurt your kids' neck. So if kids talk enough, then no need to have car seat, if it is bady, then need to full size car seat.
