係呀...你地有無想過 bb出世後 除了到健康院打針...還要到 c+打

因為 健康院 cover 唔晒
我考慮緊kinetics的"更安心"plan打晒大路必要的針要$6300...唔洗番健康院

好似好過護協join[智匯]個plan...都係$6300...不過要1個月同1歲返健康院...而且bb要打多1針

其實c+都cover唔晒, 有d針都係要extra比錢, 所以我會同bb去健康院打, 幾千蚊好似又貴左d!

i always strongly recommend friends to give extra vaccination to their babies. this money is surely worth spending. well, if you choose to have your baby being followed up by the public clinic, you need to bring the baby back at 1 year of age for the developmental assessment anyway. and the MMR (the vaccine at MMR) is the same in both the private and public clinics. if you choose kinetics, please try to find friends working in the public hospitals and ask for copy of their staff cards. you will have special price for the more expensive plan at $5800 instead of $6300. anyway, you can decid later as there may be change in vaccination plan in the public clinic. hopefully, we can save alot from the penumococcal vaccines which are the most expensive ones in the vaccination plan in kinetics.

Is penumococcal vaccines = 肺炎鏈球菌接合疫苗 which requires 4 injections at 2 months, 4 months, 6 months and 1 year old?

Yes it is very expensive I think. $700 X 4 = $2800

And for the MMR which is equivalent to those we can have at the public clinic, it's only $180

Is it likely for the public injection plan to include penumococcal vaccines in the forseeable future?

And I will ask my friend who work for HA for their staff card to have the discount you mentioned. As the more expensive plan is only $1400 more then the cheaper plan at Kinetics, I think I will join the more expensive plan for my baby can have less injections.

Also if my baby take the vaccination plan by private clinic. I think I will have the follow up at public clinic.

我今個諗住係c+打, 因為之前大仔係健康院打針, 當時還未有四合一打添, 不過每次都要擔心佢打完針後會發燒, 係c+打d針發燒機會少d, 唔洗咁擔心。 又打少幾針,因為健康院+埋其他係c+打既輪狀病毒,肺炎,水痘,流感針… 真係排得好密架。
論費用如果你都諗住唔全c+, 都會另加一d針的話…其實都只係俾約$2xxx左右…

-> Yes

"Is it likely for the public injection plan to include penumococcal vaccines in the forseeable future?" -> i guess so. but donno when. the dept of health is doing survey on that. so, you can bet. if you believe the govt will cover that in <1 year time, you'd better not to join the whole package but have individual vaccine. if you bet the govt will offer it 1 year later, you should join the package provided that kinetics will not close down in 1 year. hehe... there is always risk in prepaid packages just like the cake coupons.

you can ask your HA friend for our welfare newsletter. there is an advertisement from kinetics.

除左岩岩出世個兩針, 我兩名其他既針都會搵 c+ 打.

四合一 + 肝炎 = 由兩支針變為一支
雖然打多左4支肺鏈, 但我覺得lee 4支針必要打
水痘唔洗講都好重要
仲要食埋輪狀病毒兩劑

我都知費用幾驚人, 但真係無辦法. 可以負擔都盡量比佢

係d topic 度見到有mama話可能健康院會加肺鍊, 全部係c+打好似太貴, 應該會係健康院打4合1, 其他係c+打, 但係都唔join plan, 因為下下要特登湊出去d打, 好唔方便, 不如check 下屋企附近有冇d診所有平d咪重好!

我已經check過健康院 私家 兩邊打要 around $4900

同埋私家 健康院 兩邊走 加埋要去 11次
只是去私家 5次

而且兩邊走 bb要打多六針

係私家打齊要 around $6300

兩者差 around $1400

其實我都覺得貴...不過 $1400 可以走少 6次 打少 6針
time cost 都值 ... bb您真係好 "經"貴

well, 如果決定去健康院follow up，打針時通常會做埋檢查，所以，就算所有針係c+打都唔會行少幾次，不過，你可安排去健康院同去c+(e.g. kinetics)打針係同一日就可以用少d時間，另外就係找兒科醫生(i.e. 唔join kinetics)做檢查加打針，雖然會貴少少，但時間會flexible d，可以約星期六，又唔駛兩邊走。

係政府做完產檢, 依家好驚政府嘢, 覺得好求其!! 不過下下要去私家打針又真係好貴...

我估點都會有品質保證掛...就如其他媽咪講, 去C+ 只須五針, 但去母嬰健康院及C+要成11針...好似好慘咁既....

我會帶BB去健康院打，反正都要依時去檢查，而政府提供既針，係會計成本效益，一定係有效先提供比咁多市民用; 相反，私家所用既貨，係咩廠出，有效度幾多，一般人都吾清楚，可能仲冒險。

但政府無提供既'肺炎鏈球菌接合疫苗'&'狀病毒'&'水痘針'就會去私家度打。

AGREE!!我聽左d talk話而家健康院d針都無細胞, 同出面唔同ge只係幾多合一, 我可能住得遠, 叫我湊完去健康院再出九龍, 好辛苦ga, 又要請假, 所以係c+度打應該化算d, 同埋可以問下邊間診所平d同埋咩牌子先打, 咁樣好似有保障d, 就算分開係屋企附近打都唔會太麻煩, 好過join plan囉, 都唔知會唔會夾d平針...

please also check the expiry date of the vaccine, esp if your baby has injection in private clinic. a paediatrician was charged for giving expired vaccine to baby few months ago. the turnover of vaccines in public clinics is great and public clinics usually have good system to check their stock, so less risky in this sense.

btw, whether our babies are followed up by the public clinic or not, we can use their free lactation consultation service. private lactation consultation is usually >$500/hr!!!! and i found the nurses in the public clinic are, in general, very helpful in solving breastfeeding problems. i could not breastfeed for so long without their help and support from other bk BF moms.
