but she has to go back to philipine to wait for the visa after she signed the contract with new employer, and the new employer need to proceed to the consulate, immigration etc. instead of the maid.
As we know, the new employer and the maid are make the procedure to the immigration within 2 weeks limit. So the maid is not need to back to Philipine and apply the visa again. The Ex-employer also give the letter to immigration for the terminate employment.
I called to the immigration this morning, they said:
for those finish contract, do exactly what you said, but those being terminated , need to go back except 4 condition,1, teminated due to employer's financial problem, 2. resign due to being battered, 3.employer died . for the 4th one I forgot.. immigration said that this is new policy,( in fact , I hired a maid in 2002 who are passed to me from my friend , and not yet finish contract, she need not go back)
now I know a good maid ,she work for a new employer but not happy and want to resign, I interview her and we like each other , but when I know that she has to go back and wait for the visa ~4-6 weeks, I cannot wait for her because I need her in urgent, so this new policy trouble me a lot!
Yes. In order to avoid the maid to go back. the good way is informed the immigration to terminate the maid due to the employer's financial problem and ensure not to re-employ the new maid in the short time.
