我同老公(加拿大人)住係香港1年多, 半年前係香港結婚. 依家想同老公返温哥華定居同生BB. 我地o岩o岩入咗表申請PR卡, 我想問:

(1) 張PR卡要等幾耐? 有無可能3或4個月攪得掂?
(2) 如果要等多過9個月, 但同時我地又想生BB, o甘點算?
(3) 如果張PR卡批咗, 而萬一我又大住個肚, o甘過加拿大海關會唔會有問題?

其實我想開始識返D朋友係温哥華, 尤其係媽媽級啦, 有問題都有人幫我...

Hi Jen,

Are you Canadian permanent resident? If you are Canadian PR, they will let you in no matter how far your pregnacy.

PR card process is around 67 days now according to their website.

Thank you poohpoohmama! I am so happy that got a reply finally! :-P

Now, I dont have any PR card, but I already filled in the form and had a body check. I have check the web-site, they said it takes at least 6-9 months to finalize. How do u know that it only takes 67 days? can you send me more information?

Once more thing my husband concern is, they need the sponsor (my husband) needs to get an offer in Canada and proof that we intend move back to Canada.... we are in HK now, how can he find a job in Canada before he move back.... :cry:

Since we really want to have a baby soon, and we dont want to stay in HK that long... so really hope that I can get the PR card ASAP.

Anyway, are u living in Vancouver? We are planning to move to Port Coquitlam cos my in-laws live there.

oh you are just applying for PR status...

then, it will take max. 8 months mow. Please check here:

I suggest you waiting for the application is finalized then get pregnant.

I am not in Vancouver; I am in Toronto ah!
