This is my friend's maid. Black face, argue back to grandpa and missing.
The following passage is from a warning letter issued by her ex-employer. Please find out what was happened.
"You asked for a two-hour leave on December 2, 2006 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Even though it was not supposed to be your holiday, I allowed you to take the leave, and I stayed home to take care of my two kids after work. I was surprised that you did not come back home since then. You switched off your mobile phone, so I was not able to contact you. And you never called me. I worried about you and decided to report to the police at 10:00 pm on that day (case number xxx).
You came back to my house on the next morning December 3 at 10:45 am. I gave you a verbal warning and asked you not to stay out overnight. Then, you left for your holiday as usual before 11:30am. Again, you did not come back for another few days, and I was not able to contact you. So, I reported your missing to the police (case number xxx). Due to your missing, I had to take a no-pay leave from work on Monday to bring my kids to school and activities. And I had to make numerous calls to Immigration Department and Labour Department, which put a great pressure on my life. You finally came back and report to work today (December 6, 2006). Since I do want to talk to you regarding your work but have to rush to work, I asked you to wait for me at the employment agency. You arrived the agency at noon."
Re: bad maid-looking for job now, please take caution
The maid refused to sign the "warning letter". Then, the agency asked if she will change and be good to the elderly and the kids at home and work for my friend again. She says nothing. Anyway, who dare to hire her?! My friend's bottomline is not to pay the 1-month in-lieu of notice pay to this bad maid. My friend ask her to resign and in return release the maid from the 1-month in-lieu of notice pay. My friend even pay her the salary for the days she played missing. After all document signed, the maid follow my friend back home to pack her belongings. She asked her indonesian friends to wait for her outside the building. After discuss with her friends, she wanted more money or she would not pack her things.
My friend had to call the police. When the police came, all those "friends" ran away and we thought they might be "illegal stay". Anyway, the maid stressed that she had no money. My friend then pay this maid cash and took back the cheque issued in front of the police.
This maid is the first time to HK, 3270 with Sundays off, only take care of two primary school kids, grandparents live elsewhere. I think her job is easy. But she become so bad now, and can't even finish the first contract. This maid told my friend not to issue her the airline ticket because she wanted to look for new job here.
I can't type Chinese, and someone please summarize the story in Chinese. So, no one will trap by this bad maid.
