I also had a terrible experience when booking airbnb in Yufu.It is a hostel with spa. I was attracted by the price and others' comments. The hostel accepted my application immediately and charged my credit card. Then, one month later, (Nov)they said the real price is doubled due to the new year. So I kept asking him the exact price and whether it included breakfast or dinner. The price changed from 4500 (3 of us) to 99000 yen per person. Their response was slow. Last month, suddenly they told me the price was wrong due to computer error and was very sorry and would refund me. I was very happy about their decision. But after one month, I got nothing. I can't wait but had to cancel the reservation before the deadline. I still lost around 600 service charge from airbnb. I left message to the hostel expressing my anger. Why did they make an error and charge me service charge? The service charge is quite high if you notice. I am still waiting for their reply.
