我囡囡8個月大開始參加幼潛的playgroup,真係教得好好;我參加了兩期,因覺得撘車好遠,後來轉去附近的幼稚園辦的pg.

囡囡下個月番n1,唔洗再參加pg 了

I was graduated in 1995, and have worked for 12 years. Sometimes, I really feel tired and want to quit the job. However, I didn't have any excuse to quit the job at that time. Now, I am going to be a mother. Many people request me to be a full time mother (including my husband and my mother), as they think it is good for the baby. However, I think money is very important at this stage. As all you know, it is very expensive to buy baby's things. If I quit the job now, I am worried I can't give so many things to my baby. On the other hand, if I leave my baby to the maid / 99, I am afraid that the baby will not have close relationship with me. Therefore, I don't know how to do...................

your wanting to provide the best for your child is absolutely right. yet, I sometimes think that what is best is only comparative, e.g. your b only knows that he loves to eat apple, he'll be happy enough if he can have one apple each day but he doesn't care whether the apple is $10/5 or $10 each. But what is more important is that you are totally prepared to become a stay-home FT mom, both physicaly & mentally ready. from my own experience, I also graduated in 1995, & became a FT mom a little bit more than a year ago. Guess what I found? My EQ is becoming higher & higher after being stuck with my son all day long & it's either baby talk or not talk whe I'm with him.

Everything has pros and cons. U have to make up your mind. From my point of view, if your hubby and ur mother stand by u, why not to quit ur job and take a step forward as u really feel tired in ur current job? Just take a break. if u really feel uncomfortable after being a ftm, u can still hunt for another job. This is only a job. Nothing special. u may have a good feeling in sacrifying something for ur baby and a new u will pop up by then.

Agreed! I have stopped working when I was pregnant. My baby is 3 months now and I'm planning to go back to work. ftm is too much for me althought I enjoy my bb's company....

You may or may not enjoy the life as a ftm.

hmm... you really have to think clearly what you want, what you want to achieve. As your post appeared in this FTM section, I guess most of the moms are in support of you to take more time to be with your kids.

most of the moms here also had decent jobs, excellent offers.. it's all up to them to make their own decision to see if it's worthy to stay at home to take care of the kids.

discuss with your husband and let him know your thought. plan your fiance to see how long you can make it works.

it's not a life long decision. you can always come back to job market when you feel like it.

perhaps you feel you can't find such a good job later?
