I have a G10 and going to take pictures for my daughter at her singing performance. I assume there is a hall with dim light (never been to there). So , which setting is the best for indoor with dim light???

試下提高iso
用光圈先決mode, set 最大光圈,
留意當時的快門數值, 唔好太慢 (最好在 1/60 秒以上)

(唔知G10 有無 auto ISO? 有的, SET 佢ON)

Remember to use high iso setting (that's the main thing, but the picture will have many noise). But I think you should consider whehter your lens is long enough to take pic on the stage...

If you really want to get a good picture for the stage performance, you may wish to consider DSLR with a long zoom lens. It will help you to improve the picture quality a lot!

一張好的作品，畫面要簡潔有力。所以有人說攝影是減法畫畫是加法的意思就在這。

一張好的作品，需要有好的內容，好的構思、好的規劃，最重要的是觀察力、有人文藝術涵養以及感性知性的心。當然，相機隨身帶著。

thanks! yes, there is Auto ISO. so i use auto ISO or set to the highest one 1600?

also, if i use Av (光圈先決) mode, then i cannot change 快門數值 wor.....

auto iso, 應該可以set 快門數值
(係的, set 去 1/60 或更快)

(不過要注意, 用高iso, 影出來會有多d 雜訊)

不如未到囡囡出場先試影幾張, 睇下邊個 setting 影出來你最滿意.

可以先用 av mode, 較最大光圈, 睇下個快門速度係幾多, 跟住根據個快門數值, 用 m-mode 試下自己調整.
仲有, 就係 save 埋 raw, 可以影完之後後製執番張相.

不過, 如果太高 iso, 雜訊會好多, 事後用 software 執都唔會救得番好多.

the only way to take pictures with this envoirment is to set the highest ISO??

Also, unable to change shutter speed when I am on AV mode or auto ISO wor....

OMG... tomorrow is the day... hope i can take some good one
