I need to sign up for broadband. I ask PXXW. If old type of broadband, 18M at $238 per month, 2 yr contract. Everyone already tell me insane $$$$$.
Now PXXW says give me deal, can upgrade to fibre optic broadband, 300m at around $300 per month. BUT installation fee of $2,500!!! No coupon, no reimburse, no nothing!!! Is it reasonable??? I only live in normal older building (around 20 yrs old building)!!! I tried calling PXXW at different times but each time, customer service says a "special team" is dealing with my building. And no one else can quote me prices. But this "special team" quotes me special expensive price!!!
What to do??? No other company offers optic fibre.
Thanks for your replies. So I may be first in building to have fibre, therefore I pay for expensive installation that OTHER USERS later can install for much cheaper.
OK I will not install then. I should just go with another provider giving me cheapest rates and shortest contract. Then just switch when contract ends, hoping fibre will be installed in my building by then...
